ESTN at SGMP
This is Marvin T. Smith's report from Wednesday:
Today was the first day of the ESTN event at South Georgia Motorsports Park. About 40 cars and bikes were already there preparing for the big event. Most cars were having trouble navigating the track on the first day. Tim O'Hare ran a 414 at 174 and Brad Personnett ran a 4.11 at 185 in the turbo Camaro. The big surprise of the day was the presence of Josh Hernandez with the ADRL Red Team Camaro. This was Josh's first outing with a screw blower. After a troubled first pass, Josh ripped off an effortless 3.95 at 192 about 5:00PM for the best run of the day. Now he has something to work with. It was good to see Troy Critchley and Jim Oddy at the track. There are some outstanding cars present, with more expected.
