Randy Payne Update

Fred Simmons visited Randy Payne Wednesday (at Redmond Regional Hospital Rome, GA Room 363 ). He said that Randy is in good spirits and is now in rehabilitation (for his knee replacement surgery). He continues to improve and is now walking.

Anyone that plans on attending the East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame & Reunion ( October 14, 15 & 16 in Henderson, NC ) should make reservations soon. Nancy Wilson informed me today that the Hampton Inn has sold out and the Jameson Inn and Holiday Inn are booking fast.

Billy "Big Deal" Jacobs

Sol Stewart called today and informed me that Billy "Big Deal" Jacobs (aka Kid Goat) has suffered another heart attack. He had a series of heart attacks about two years ago, but had recovered from them. He is at home right now, but he may have to have surgery soon. Please keep Mr. Jacobs in your thoughts and prayers.
