Gassers coming to the Southern Nostalgia Shootout, October 27-29

A good field of Gassers is expected to participate in the Southern Nostalgia Shootout this October at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

Headlining the gassers is the restored Prock and Howell blown flip-top 33 Willys from Michigan. Also planning to attend is Don Brugman with his Indiana 48 Austin, Dave Cobb and his 33 Willys, and Mack Presley with the Hartsoe Brothers Anglia. The Classic Gassers circuit will be
well-represented with Roger McConnell's Mighty Mouse Anglia, a 41 Blown Plymouth, and a Blown 52 Willys. Larry McLendon is bringing his blown small block Chevy-powered Willys from Florida. Bunky Bobo will have his award winning restored Hemi Hurricane Willys on memory lane.

Gassers will participate in a dial your own event for $1000 first place. Cars running 7.99 to 8.99 seconds will run against each other. There will also be a class for cars dialing in at 8.99 to 10.50
seconds. The two class winners will run off for the money. $1000 to the winner and $500 to the runner-up. The two class runner-ups get $250 each. Gassers who wish to dial in slower than 10.50 seconds are welcome to run in the Quick 100 Class.
