LIGHTNING AND RAIN FORCE DELAY OF SUMMIT ET RACE AT ATLANTA DRAGWAY

EVENT: Summit Snap-On event at Atlanta Dragway in 2006
In spite of predictions of thunderstorms, well over 200 bracket racers still came to enjoy a day at the races. The Atlanta Dragway crew did their best, working through two rain delays, and getting racers through three rounds of competition. However, lots of lightning, and then rain ended the evening at 10:00pm. Management announced that all racers still in competition would conclude this event during the morning of the next scheduled Summit ET race, which is set for June 17, 2006. Racers were asked to check on the website, www.atlantadragway.com, for further information.
