R.I.P. Bill Tanner 1933 - 2005

Terry Earwood called this evening and informed me that Bill Tanner passed away last night. I didn't know Mr.Tanner well, but I did enjoy several visits with him at his home ( interviewing him for our book ). Bill was always nice to me and we shared a lot of laughs on those visits. He had been battling cancer for the last couple of years. Godspeed Mr.Tanner.
