Whit Bazemore is #3 in Funny Car with a best of 4.834 @ 322.04.

Kurt Johnson ( #14 - 6.829 @ 202.36 ) and Warren Johnson ( #15 - 6.831 @ 202.42 ) are currently qualified in Pro Stock - Mark Whisnant ( #19 - 6.863 @ 201.34 ) and Barry Grant ( #24 - 6.902 @ 200.11 ) are not quite quick enough in first day qualifying.

Robert Burgin ( Cuthbert, GA ) qualified #19 in Super Stock with his GT/CA '01 Firebird. Robert's qualifying time was a 9.921 (-0.779 ).
