"KIDS WILL BE EXCEEDING THE SPEED LIMIT AND IT'S LEGAL"

NHRA O'Reilly Auto Parts Jr. Drag Racing League Challenge Presented by Denny's at Tanger II to be held Saturday, August 21, 2004.

This Saturday, Atlanta Dragway will showcase the NHRA O'Reilly Auto Parts Junior Drag Racing League Challenge presented by Denny's at Tanger II where Junior Drag racers will have the opportunity to compete for special awards and recognition.

The event, part of the Summit Racing Series ET bracket program, will allow youngsters, ages 8-17, to compete on an eighth-mile track in dragsters powered by five-horsepower engines reaching speeds up to 85 miles-per-hour.

NHRA's O'Reilly Auto Parts Jr. Drag Racing League allows children to experience the thrill of motorsports in a controlled environment. Spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer for the junior drag racers as well as the adults who compete in four bracket racing classes.
