Schumacher, Medlen, Connolly and Treble Win the NHRA POWERade Lucas Oil Nationals

The Georgia connected teams didn't fare very well as Whit Bazemore ( Funny Car ) and Mark Whisnant ( Pro Stock ) lost their first round races and Kurt Johnson ( Pro Stock ) was defeated in the second round.
