Richard Tapia to Give Talk at Georgia Tech Monday. "Math at Top Speed" - Exploring and Breaking Myths in the Drag Racing Folklore

Thanks to Bill Cook for forwarding information to us about this talk at Georgia Tech by Rice University's Richard Tapia! Professor Tapia is the twin brother of Bobby Tapia who long-time fans will know from his races in the late 50's and the 60's.

"Math at Top Speed" to be given at Georgia Tech on Monday, September 14, 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. Richard's talk will cover the mathematics of drag racing. It is open to the public and it will be a fun event for any dragster fans.
