These 7 men have been voted on by the membership of the OLD DRAG RACERS REUNION to be inducted into our HALL OF FAME in a ceremony on Sept. 28, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Select ballroom in Panama City, Fla.
Billy Ray Bailey....Dothan, Ala.
"Bunky" Bobo....Silver Creek, Ga.
"Whistle" Blaxton....Albany, Ga.
R. D. (Richard) Helms....Crestview, Fla.
Col. Bob Tensfield....Tavares, Fla.
Ray Thompson....Midland City, Ala.
Bill Tripoli....Covington, La.
THREE DECEASED MEN WERE VOTED IN POSTHUMOUSLY
Frank Butler....Pensacola, Fla.
John Donilson....Birmingham, Ala.
Don York....Dothan, Ala.
I might add that the voting this year was the closest that it has ever been. Six men missed getting on the list of 7 by only one vote..........
