SGMP Testing Report From Marvin T. Smith

Marvin sent this info and photos of Chip Ellis, George Bryce and Steve Spiess today. Speiss was reportedly running in the 6.30s.
Chip Ellis and George Bryce were testing a brand new cycle that was just finished last night and still unpainted. They didn't even make a partial check out pass but blasted a fine 7.01 at 188 in the first ever pass on the bike! A second try resulted in a broken throttle cable, but a third pass in the heat of the afternoon netted a good 7.03. George was really happy.
