New Drag Racing DVD From Bee On Video
Jim Amos of Bee On Video has hit another home run with his latest drag racing DVD! This jewel of a DVD is titled Run What You Brung: Cecil County and is packed with on track action from the golden years and interviews with drag racing legends. You could probably call this a 99 minute time capsule of Cecil County Dragway history!
From an era when match races were the most exciting form of drag racing, this DVD takes you on a ride down memory lane with some of drag racings biggest stars. Some of the match races you will see are Malcolm Durham vs. Bud Shellenberger, Don Nicholson vs. Ronnie Sox, Malcolm Durham vs. Phil Bonner and Ed Schartman vs. Bob Harrop. The Schartman vs.Harrop race is when Harrop crashed his car. Interviews are added to the racing footage to give you the inside story from several drag racing stars!
The early years of drag racing also featured class racing and in my opinion, this was the most enjoyable period in drag racing. The DVD even includes A/S match race action between Stahl in his Hemi Mopar and Jenkins in his small block powered Nova! The racing action also features the 1965 SS & FX Invitational, the Factory Stock Showdown, a Top Fuel match and Top Stock/Jr. Stock action. This DVD is definitely worth the price!
