John Force runs a quickest-ever Funny Car pass of 4.664 @ 329.91 to qualify #1, Tony Schumacher goes to the top of Top Fuel with his 4.490 @ 317.34 and Greg Anderson leads the Pro Stockers with his 6.665 @ 207.43.

The Funny Car field is the quickest in history and Gary Scelzi has top speed of the event so far at 332.51 in his Funny Car.

Bob Vandergriff, Jr. just missed qualifying in his return to Top Fuel with a 17th best 4.659.
Whit Bazemore is off to a solid start in Funny Car with a 4.763 @ 325.92 that was good for the #6 position.
WJ is #3 (6.680 @ 207.43) and KJ is #11 (6.707 @ 207.50) in Pro Stock.
