CAR SHOW----May 28-29-30.The North Georgia Chapter of GARHOFA will be participating on the 28th and 29th at this BIG CAR SHOW. NASCAR Champion Rex White will be signing autographs and will have his book "Gold Thunder" available for purchase. Drag Racer Hubert Platt will be signing autographs also. Several former GRAND NATIONAL RACE CARS will be on display. Rex Whites #4 Nalley Chevrolet--Buck Bakers 1957 Chevy #87--Rusty Wallaces Kodiak Pontiac #27--Jack Smiths #47 Pontiac and Tim Flocks Chrysler 300. Several vintage race cars will on display. The North Ga. Chapter will be there from 10 AM--6:00 PM both days.
Lots of custom cars on display..Fire works-bluegrass music--prizes,,etc. Benefits the Roy Rogers Happy Trails Childrens Foundation.
Support the Georgia Automobile Racing Hall of Fame Association with their efforts to document and preserve Georgia racing history! We need more drag racers involved. I'm not sure when he'll be at the show, but I hear that drag racing pioneer and legend Hoyt Grimes will aso be attending the event this weekend. There are a bunch of great people involved in this organization and I'm proud to say I'm a member. Georgia Automobile Racing Hall of Fame Association.
