Whit Bazemore qualified #4 in Funny Car with a 4.772 @ 326.95.

Kurt Johnson qualified for Pro Stock in the #15 position with a best of 6.835 @ 201.10. The other Georgia Pro Stock teams failed to qualify - Mark Whisnant ( #18 - 6.848 @ 201.10, Warren Johnson ( #22 - 6.861 @ 200.98 ) and Barry Grant ( #26 - 6.900 @ 199.52 ).

Chip Ellis made up for the teams lack of Friday runs with a #2 7.131 @ 182.58 in Pro Stock Bike.
