Whit Bazemore is #4 in Funny Car with a best of 4.767 @ 326.48.

Warren Johnson qualifies #8 in Pro Stock with a 6.750 @ 204.29 204.29 and Kurt Johnson is #13 with a 6.766 @ 204.42. Mark Whisnant ( #23 - 6.795 @ 203.03 ) and Eric Shelton ( #32 - 7.066 @ 171.97 ) fail to qualify for eliminations.

Star Racing riders Matt Smith ( #7 - 7.175 @ 184.42 ) and Fred Collis ( #8 - 7.177 @ 181.54 ) qualify in Pro Stock Bike.
