Grubnic, T. Pedregon, Morgan and Hines Lead Pro Qualifying at the NHRA POWERade Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals presented by Pontiac - Tony Pedregon Records Fastest Ever Funny Car Speed - 329.83 MPH


David Grubnic leads Top Fuel with a 4.469 @ 324.44, Tony Schumacher is second with a 4.510 @ 328.38 and Bob Vandergriff ( Alpharetta, GA ) makes a successful return to Top Fuel with a 10th best 4.654 @ 312.13.

Tony Pedregon is on top of funny car at 4.765 @ 329.83 and former Atlanta resident Whit Bazemore is #2 at 4.797 @ 324.20.
Funny Car Qualifying Results

Larry Morgan is #1 in Pro Stock with a 6.796 @ 202.91 in his Dodge Stratus. Jason Line is #2 in his Team Anderson machine with a 6.802 @ 203.28. Greg Anderson is #3 with a 6.809 @ 202.64.
